Once Remembered Photography is participating in the International Charity Model Search to select North America’s Cutest Family and to raise funds for the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Foundation. (NILMDTS.org)

Are your loved ones North America’s Cutest Family? We’ll give you the opportunity to prove it! Many exciting prizes will be awarded, and the grand prize winner receives a new car!

Model Search Special:
$50 entrance fee includes a 30-minute family model session, a $50 print credit, and one image submitted to the national gallery.
(Some amazing portrait packages will be available for this event only!)

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Each vote is $1 (no limit on the amount of votes you can cast), and all proceeds from votes benefit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.

Grand prize international winner will be determined from the 52 city finalists. The winners will be selected from the finalist gallery by photography and modeling industry experts. The winning family also receives a session with the renowned portrait artist Sandy Puc’ and international recognition.

(Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep (NILMDTS), is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to assisting parents and families going through the difficult time when they experience an early infant loss. Last year’s competition featured 2,000 model’s images and raised $164,775 for the NILMDTS organization!)

Bring your little trick-or-treaters to the studio on October 31st from 10:00am until 3:00pm and receive a 4×5 portrait in exchange for a $5 donation or 3 canned goods.  Appointments are by walk in only so be sure to get there early. Don’t wait until the last minute because the line cuts off promptly at 3:00pm so that we can have time to get our own little monsters ready for Halloween.

All donations will go directly to the Idaho Food Bank. To recieve your 4×5 portrait, you must donate at least $5 or bring in 3 canned goods. Dented or expired cans will not be accepted. One 4×5 portrait allowed per family though small packages will be available.  4×5 portraits will be available for pickup at the studio on November 13th.

The food there is WONDERFUL. They have all healthy stuff like whole grain sandwiches, pretzels, grapes, strawberries, juice, milk….no soda! It’s one of the few places where my toddler will actually clean his plate. I keep telling them they should get a drive-thru service.

We’re going to be making some really cool coffee table books for Rafiki’s tables featuring the children at play! We had a fun day taking pictures of all the children playing and having a ball. Here are some of my favorite  pics that will be featured in the books. There were really too many fun images to post them all here, so you’ll just have to go there and find the Books to see the rest! ;) I’ll post later once the books are finished and on their tables.

Rafiki’s has all of these cool areas where the kids can play. They have an art area, a place to read books, an area for babies, a HUGE kitchen station, a really fun dress up area with costumes and mirrors….just tons and tons of stuff. Why didn’t they have this stuff when I was little??

I’ll be excited to show you all the coffee table books once we have them ready. In the meantime, take your kids to Rafiki’s, especially in this cold weather. I’ll be there with Mason a lot so if you see a crazy lady with a camera, stop me and say hi!
